I recently decided to start over. Yes, I’ve had a blog for over six years now and I was just tired of looking at all the junk I’ve accumulated so I made a backup and then wiped it all away. I broke links. Lots of them. Shame on me and all that, but quite frankly, I don’t care right now. It just feels good to have a new beginning.
So what’s up with this latest 2.3 release of Wordpress?
Always good to have a nice, fresh piece of paper.
WP2.3 is fine. An excellent place to start. plugin breakage where people made direct references to the database (new schema).

Yeah.. I noticed the schema change when a link category plugin I wrote stopped working. Actually I had something else break from an earlier wordpress change, but I never bothered fixing it. That was one of several reasons for the clean start.
Also that I haven’t blogged in forever and I thought this might get me going again. We’ll see.
